Meet The Pastor

Our pastor, Mike Cratch, is a lifelong resident of Simi Valley. Mike has a baccalaureate degree in Bible with an emphasis on missions.  He completed the bulk of his M.Div. studies at Tyndale Theological Seminary and is currently studying at The Masters Seminary.

He and his wife Jennifer of 25 years, along with their then 3 sons, Michael, Mason, and Matthew, served on a church planting team in Papua New Guinea with New Tribes Mission for 6 years. Upon returning to the states, Mike and Jennifer have adopted three children; Rosie, Naomi and Jayden.

Mike is a gifted communicator and passionate about teaching that impacts understanding rather than effort. His experience living in a third world country and studying cross cultural ministries has given him a passion for those that have never heard the Gospel and has given him great insight into the human tendency to syncretize the message of the Bible with human presuppositions. You will appreciate how Mike is able to properly navigate through the grand narrative of Scriptures and affect worldview change as opposed to preach a message of self-change.

In Mike’s leisure time, he enjoys traveling on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, playing softball with his adult children and watching Dodger’s baseball.

Associate Pastor of Children and Youth

Our Associate Pastor of Children and Youth, Olu, has been married to his lovely wife for 5 years. Olu and Deanna are residents of Simi Valley. They have been involved in children's ministry for many years through Child Evangelism Fellowship and Olu is the Local Director for the Ventura County Chapter. Although Olu studied Industrial Chemistry back in college, his passion has always been working with children and youth and seeing them grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. God is using Olu's experience of growing up in Africa and now being an American citizen as an opportunity to reach people of different cultural backgrounds with the gospel. Olu has been involved in several different ministries such as halfway house ministry, being on the praise and worship team, children's ministry, and being a certified mentor for many years, but felt the Lord leading him to go full-time into ministry since 2019.

Olu and Deanna enjoy board games, movies, going to the beach, and trying new food. Olu loves playing soccer, pingpong, and chess.
